You have to use the CSS in style attribute of the element, as you have mentioned above, depending on how you are showing the Twitter share count.

I’m still totally lost. I,m am displaying using shortcode [Sassy_Social_Share]
Facebook and G+ are fine but the box for twitter count looks like <
Our plugin doesn’t show Twitter share counts for official tweet button, by default. You must have placed some custom code to display count for tweet button, that you need to modify to use the CSS.

Under Standard Sharing Interface Options | Show share counts
Use NewShareCounts to show Twitter share counts
So i did, but that does not add the box surrounding the counts, surely that is the plugin? if not why am i seeing a < next to twitter

If not then NewShareCounts must be creating this <
As we mentioned before, our plugin doesn’t show Twitter share counts for OFFICIAL Tweet button, by default. The Show share counts option is for Twitter share icon.
You have placed custom code to show counts after official tweet button.

I have placed nothing in any code
just ticked the boxes and authorised newsharecounts
anyway small issue i,ll leave it at that
