I’ve just taken over the maintenance of a site that uses the Themed Profiles feature of Theme My Login. It’s using a custom profile-form.php, and it’s doing something weird. I think it was meant to be a password strength meter, but nowhere in the code is there and HTML or Javascript to insert this meter.

This has been driving me crazy for the last hour or so. The theme was out of date, so I updated it to the latest version, but I’m still getting this weird behavior.

Thanks for any light you can shed on this.

After you updated the theme, did you replacce the custom profile-form.php? If you need that, I’d suggest updating it with the current code from TML’s profile-form.php.

Thanks, Jeff. I’ve just gotten back to this, and did what you suggested, and I’ve now gotten this to work. I think the big problem was that the previous developer did not want to allow the user to change their nickname, but it wasn’t being passed as a hidden field.
