Server Configuration Issue but receiving good API response?

    Hi there,

    I had inserted custom facebook feed on my staging site to test a new layout and it was working wonderfully. I moved it to my production server and I’m getting the facebook feed icon but instead of posts it says Unable to Display Posts Server Configuration Issue.

    I looked at all your documentation and I have all the PHP configurations correct. What’s even more strange is that when I check the support tab I can see the full facebook API response with all the latest posts. Any idea why they can’t be displayed?

    Hey trendicoff,

    That is strange. The same function is used in the System Info and front end to display the posts so if one is working then the other should too. There are other reasons why you could receive that error message on the front end though, but I’d need some more info to help determine what the problem is. Is it possible to copy and paste your System Info from the plugin? If you’d prefer you can send it to us privately by submitting a support ticket via our website here.

    John,

    Thanks for responding. I just sent you the system info via the support form. Hopefully we can sort this out and I’ll post the solution here for others. The only difference I have been able to find between the 2 system setups is that the staging site used curl v7.38 and the product uses 7.19 but as it is successfully getting the data from facebook that wouldn’t seem too relevant.
