    Also, is it possible to list the categories of the location instead of the ‘more info’ link on the store listing template?

    Showing the categories in a checkbox list is included in the 2.2 update.

    This code will collect the category names, and this filter allows you to change the store listing template. If you copy the code from the usage section, and change the my_textinput into terms then it will show the category name(s).

    Add both codes to the functions.php inside your active theme folder.
