Hey there!
Have you tried adding this code to your header.php within your child theme?
<?php if ( get_header_image() ) { /* if header image is set use it as logo. */ ?>
<h1 id="site-title"><a href="<?php echo home_url(); ?>" title="<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name' ) ); ?>"><img src="<?php header_image(); ?>" height="<?php echo get_custom_header()->height; ?>" width="<?php echo get_custom_header()->width; ?>" alt="<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name' ) ); ?>" /></a></h1>
<?php } else { ?>
<h1 id="site-title"><a href="<?php echo home_url(); ?>" title="<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name' ) ); ?>"><?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?></a></h1>
<?php } ?>
just tried that and it broke my entire site. i am using the onepress theme with a child theme as well.
Just remove that code from your child theme and you should be back where you were…
Let me look further into this, what images specifically on the website do you want full-width so I can take a look directly?
Link me direct URL with image.
the url is in my very first original post
I’m not seeing any images on any other part of your website apart from this header image here.

You can also try resizing the image and re-uploading it to the website to see if this makes any changes.
You can contact your theme author for support directly here as well.

I’d take a look here for options on different ways to resize the width.

I am brand new to this and obviously a little overwhelmed. I need to increase the php memory limit
max execution time
max input time
upload_max
post_max
Anybody got any ideas?
contact your web host provider about increasing your php memory limit.
9 times out of 10 they will do it for you, UNLESS its GoDaddy, then they wont do much for you.
