    Hi,

    I am using this custom CSS to remove the “recent posts” from the bottom of my homepage.

    #primary-home {
    display: none;
    }

    It worked great except the background image starts repeating oddly. Is there a way to color that area in solid?

    Hello,
    Go to Customize-> Header Image -> Hide Image
    then Customize-> Colors -> Background Color -> Select color you needed.

    I hope this will help resolving your issue.
