Hi,
Thanks for reaching out 🙂 Captions can be controlled and disabled in our Premium version: http://enviragallery.com/pricing/
Thank you

Hi,
Sadly the above advice is wrong – sorry you’ve been advised that you can’t fix this.
In the gallery, click the blue info icon for each image. You’ll then be able to edit the Image Title field – in this case, you can remove the text from this field, and click Save Metadata.
This will then remove the ‘caption’ (which we call Image Title).
Hope that helps.
Tim.
Hi,
I’m using WP 4.5.1 and Envira Gallery Lite plugin 1.5.0.1.
Following your instructions iam trying to edit metadata by clicking white pencil icon(previously “i” icon) in left top corner of thumbnail when editing certain gallery.
And the problem is that its not responding. Checked using Opera and FF.
Hi Kuban and thanks for contacting us 🙂
It sounds like there is something in 1 of your plugins or theme that is preventing this. This is a standard WP core function.
Can you deactivate all your plugin (except Envira) and activate a WP default theme (such as twenty twelve), that would be a good place to start debugging the issue.
Also, try in Chrome or Safari, if you right-click your page and ‘inspect’ using the Chrome inspector tool, you could see if there are any ‘Errors’ on your page – you would see a little red number in the far right corner of the inspector tab.

What version of PHP is running on your server? If it’s currently running 5.3 will you be sure to upgrade the version of PHP and check if this resolves the issue?
Erica thank you very much for your help.
I didnt noticed that site was running o PHP 5.2. Very old version.
Now i’ve changed to PHP 5.4 and it works fine.
