Remote File URL broke

    Does it work? Under Download Options and “Download Method”, try Redirect to File.

    It works for me, https://lesterchan.net/wordpress_dev/download/2/ (it links to WP-DownloadManager File)

    I tried redirect to file. Still doesn’t work. It appends my site url to the begining download url.

    Wierd, I can’t reproduce this problem, what is the URL you are trying to redirect to? Maybe it is a plugin conflict?

    I changed the setting for the urls’s from file name to file id and the download from remote url now works. You’re link is to file id so it does work.

    The problem seems to be with file name for permalinks.

    ah! Okie that is what you are using. Yea, I recommend ID instead of filename because remote URL will cause problem with name.
