Widget plug-in fatal error

    I tried to install the sidebar widget plug-in and it appears on my presentation page but whenever I click on it I get this message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_deregister_script() in /home/misterpark.ca/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/widgets/widgets.php on line 204

    What should I do?
