Hey,
Because you are using the boxed layout mode (apperance > theme options > main settings). You can’t make the footer fullwidth. You would need to change that to the wide mode.
You can change the footer background in your theme options > advnaced styling by editing the footer background.
In your theme options > main settings > footer layout you can choose how many footer columns you would like to use.

Thank You for your quick reply. I will give it a try and will reply if all “problems/wishes” will be solved later. Because I understand the settings for 2, or 3 columns, but I could not fill these with acceptable text. Again thanks and later I report the results.

I believe 90% is going well, but I would like, in the third column of the footer, the symbol / image of facebook and twitter and alongside the text, but the proper images will not appear. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry !! Thats right ! I solved that about 4-5 hours ago , just before dinnertime. I have not yet had the opportunity to report it. I have found meanwhile all kind of articles and in the virtue widgets due to your fabelous documentation. Sorry again.
But there still remains a problem that I do not get solved, the link to the terms and conditions.pdf, (In dutch Alemene voorwaarden). I put this pdf in the media, but do not know how the link should be established.

Can you give me a hint how copyright can out of the bottom-line and put that in footercolumn2 incl. link.
And now yet to find the solution for disclaimer. I’m going to try that myself. Perhaps in a page ?
