Announcement boxes too narrow..?

Hi Evan

I’m enjoying the free version of your plugin so car, thanks very much!
However, my announcement boxes are super narrow, a maximum of three words before the next line starts. So I have really long tall boxes, which isn’t how it appear on plugin demo screenshots.

Here is what I’ve been trying to resolve it; I’ve temporarily changing my theme; I’ve got the page set to full width; I’ve tried changing font, both in plugin settings and my theme’s settings (Just Write); I’ve tried to ‘force’ force it wider by adding an image. But still no change.

I’m developing a site locally, using MAMP so unfortunately can’t show you.

Any thoughts on what it could be?
