HTML code disappear after saving in post

    I have some HTML code in the post for social sharing.

    Like this one:

    • <i class=”fa fa-facebook”></i>

      • And after saving, it will become:

    • <i class=”fa fa-facebook”></i>

      • And this will make the sharing function can’t work properly.

      Is there any method to prevent wordpress changing my code here?
