• I seeing if anyone else is encountering this. When I test my AMP pages in the Google Structured Data tester, everything comes out perfect, but in the Google Webmaster Tools I’m getting these errors

    Accelerated Mobile Pages > Invalid attribute value

    rel=dns-prefetch, rel=attachment wp-att-23189, href=//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Merriweather:400,400italic,700,700italic%7COpen+Sans:400,700,400italic,700italic, rel=wikipedia and 2 others

    I’m confused as to which one is actually correct now as in Tools, it gives me thousands of errors while in the regular Tool tester from Google it shows perfect score.

    This is the frustration of Google pushing websites to make major changes to their sites without a whole lot of help in return.

  • Having the same problem, 27 pages ok on webmaster tools however 1 page fails
    Invalid attribute values: rel=attachment wp-att-983, rel=attachment wp-att-982, rel=attachment wp-att-985, rel=attachment wp-att-994

    However no errors are reported using validator on google chrome.

    this is the welcome to an update that you must do but don’t expect a lot of support for sadly.

    I’ve had to hire a developer to get through all this as your site must pass a 2-Tier test on Google for them to even index your links. IT does the Google Structured Data Test but also the one that you would see in Google Webmaster Tools.

    If you have errors in either of them, Google won’t index your links. This is coming straight from the Google Forums too.

    It was frustrating to learn since I thought it was all about the Structured Data Tool but there was a surprise I’m sure many other sites probably don’t even realize.

    The DNS prefetch could be coming from a caching plugin. I have WP Rocket, and they are working on a fix for that now.

    Many thanks for the update
