Background Color Change ?

I am using Sydney theme to build my website http://www.pixelbox.in
The home page came fine as per my expectation and can be checked
at http://www.pixelbox.in

Next I’ve been trying to build a contact page and I have loaded screen shots

In the image Contact-queries.jpg I have typed few queries.
1) At left side the text “Contact” is picking up the default page name.
How to remove that “Contact’ text ?

2) How to change the default background color White to something else ?
I adjusted the background color in Appearance>Color but that change
happens only for the Home Page but not the other pages ?
How to change the background white color in the “Contact” or any other
pages other than home page ?

3) In the Page-Setup.png you can see the settings / widgets that I used
for the Contact page. I did change the color or Row and Widget to black
but it doesn’t affect the color of entire web page. Please let me know
what can be done ?

4) There is a gap between top menu and the Contact info widget ? How to
remove that gap totally ? Please check Contact-queries.jpg
