Looking at the links to the pictures on the page I see that the thumbnail image are in the http://norbeck-photos.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/12200602 folder which looks like a CDN (content delivery network) but the larger images are located at a different URL, http://norbeck.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/ and these images are not in that folder. They are in http://norbeck-photos.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/12200602.
One solution is to upload the images directly to http://norbeck.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/. You do not need to add these to the media library again.

We posted a version of Maxgalleria that should fix your issue at https://wordpress.org/plugins/maxgalleria/developers/. Under the heading Other Versions download and install version 4.25. Let us know if it works.

P.S. Is there a way to just have an album thumbnail and then just have it go directly into the lightbox display? I’m sure there is, just haven’t figured out how to do that.

No one has asked for this before. It is possible if we give the first item an ID and add some javascript code to automatically display the first item. We will consider that for a future enhancement.

I promised my customer I would ask again:
Do you see a time when you would add the option to go directly into the lightbox from an album thumbnail? If so, when?
Or, can you suggest a workaround to implement this behavior?
No, we have not considered if or when this featured would be added.

It seems to me that your customer wants to use the lightbox like a slider without automatic scrolling. For that you can purchase our Slick Slider for WordPress add on for Maxgalliera.
