Menu Filtering

    How would you go about filtering menu items by brand? For example if you have a top level menu item called “Guitars” and three mega menu columns Type (Acoustic, Electric, Bass etc), Accessories (Guitar Straps, Capos etc) & Brands. What I want is the brands only to show brands of the category guitars. But currently they are not filtered. If you select Guitars then Fender from the mega menu the results are all Fender brand products like fender amps, fender bass guitars, fender straps. What I need to happen is that if you are in the Guitars category part of the menu and you click on a brand the results are only Guitars of the brand selected.

    Hi lfirth,

    Are you referring to the links in the menu or the results on the category page itself?

    What are you using to populate the items in the menu?

    There is no filtering in the menu, it works the same way as a normal WordPress menu system (the links it displays will be the ones you have added through the Appearance > Menus page)

    I was referring to the menu itself. It seems it’s not possible so I will do it a different way.
