Me too – really hope we can get this cleared up.
I’ve been able to work around this problem if I leave the result email’s “from” field blank. Hope this helps others out there!

It won’t work for me either, and this was the main reason why we changed from SlickQuizzes to this plugin. Very frustrating.
I can’t download the stats either. 🙁
This is a big question and one that needs to be resolved urgently as we use the quiz as a test platform for training so it is important the both the Admin and the User to get an email upon completion of each quiz…

I had the same issue and the lesdavy’s solution is the key!!!. The problem is in the from field.
In more details… I was using the name of my web site and email wasn’t working. I think the problem is WP-Pro-Quiz needs a valid value in that field. I put a value like this “MyWebSite <address@mail.com>” and it works perfectly. It works with empty values and with just an email too.
