Moderating question

    Hi everyone,

    I just started my blog about a month ago and love it. I’m starting to get some comments from other’s with blogs and in my opinion they are spam. Most say:
    “I found your site on technorati and read a few of your other posts. Keep up the good work.”
    This first one like this I had approved, and then when I saw the second it got my attention. So my questions:
    How did they find me?
    And why do I get 2 emails? One for moderation and then another was 3 hours later?

    Most likely it is spam.
    You get an email because of your settings: an admin has to approve it.
    Next, you get an email when it has been approved – which is useful for comments that are not in the moderation queue.

    How did they find you? – whetever is on the net is “findable” and not secret…

    I didn’t think about what my process has been. Get the email and approve or spam it like I did the other. Of course there was a time gap.

    My second question was more of like, how would I find them if I wanted to? Seems pretty obvious they are searching for blogs, so they can post with a link back. Pretty minor though.
