modify feedwordpress

I am wondering if it is possible to modify feedwordpress so that it doesn’t touch posts that have already been syndicated. I am having an issue that everytime it searches for new posts, it updates the timestamp of the existing ones thus changing the order of the posts.

I like how it works, I just need it to only do the new post function and not look for updates (nor actually update) the existing posts. Thanks
