install problem
-
Hi there
I am having a problem with the install. I currently run a mysql and php database on my current server, no problems at all. I have dumped the word press files into a directory on the same server(www.williecreekpearls.com.au/BLOG) that is run through my host, but i’m getting the error page. I have triple checked everything, password and username. I know it is something im doing wrong, just haven’t seen the problem yet. And im a designer, not the best developer in the world so im kinda stuck.Any help would be appreciated. This is what i have:
<?php
// ** MySQL settings ** //
define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘http://www.williecreekpearls.com.au/BLOG’); // The name of the database
define(‘DB_USER’, ‘williecreek’); // Your MySQL username
define(‘DB_PASSWORD’, ‘BIGp34rls’); // …and password
define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘localhost’); // 99% chance you won’t need to change this value
define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);
define(‘DB_COLLATE’, ”);// You can have multiple installations in one database if you give each a unique prefix
$table_prefix = ‘wp_’; // Only numbers, letters, and underscores please!// Change this to localize WordPress. A corresponding MO file for the
// chosen language must be installed to wp-content/languages.
// For example, install de.mo to wp-content/languages and set WPLANG to ‘de’
// to enable German language support.
define (‘WPLANG’, ”);/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
define(‘ABSPATH’, dirname(__FILE__).’/’);
require_once(ABSPATH.’wp-settings.php’);
?>The localhost command should just point to this address mysql.web.westnet.com.au? I shouldn’t have to put this in right?
Thanks
Aaron
