    Hi,

    Sadly I seem to have found a serious bug 🙁
    I am using Woocommerce and picked the product categories as menu items.
    With this plugin activated however, all menu links stop working and they take me to an error page.

    I get this error:

    The page isn’t redirecting properly

    Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

    And in Chrome: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

    I cleaned up all cookies in browser but that did not help 🙁

    Once I disable this plugin the links in the menu work again, so I have serious reasons to suspect that this plugin is at fault.

    Could you please advise about the fix?

    Sorry about that…

    Can you try to refresh permalink (go to settings->permalinks and just click on “save changes”).

    If it still does’nt work, can you please tell me what your links (those that don’t work) look like (right click on link and Copy link address)?

    HI,

    Yes, did the trick with the permalinks already but it dit not help 🙁

    This is the menu links structure:

    domain.com/cat/products/books/politcs/ (for the standard language)

    domain.com/de/cat/products/books/politcs/ (for one of the translations)

    (none of the menu links work … same error for all of them)

    hmmm …. seems it’s the subcategories of any kind that do not work …
    If I only show the root category (domain.com/cat/products/), that one works

    I don’t really get it, is books a category name and politics a sub-category?
    Is products a custom post type?
    What is cat? The category slug or the folder wp is installed into?

    … And what is your permalink structure (in settings->permalinks) btw?

    that “cat” is my “Product category base” that this woocommerce forces us to define. It’s like the “root” of all categories.

    “products” is my actual root category and the others (books, politics) are respective subcategories defined in the order they appear in the url.

    (so books is a subcategory of products and politics a subcategory of books)

    My WP permalink: domain.com/sample-post/

    I think I managed to reproduce this bug. Thank you for spotting it, Now I’ll try to find a fixe as soon as possible.

    I fixed something and release a new version of the plugin. Please update it and try again. Tell me if it is working now.

    There is still one caveat however: you need to fill the fields for translating the taxonomy slug on “translate taxonomies” section, in settings->permalinks.
