We are currently using Events Manager Pro (EMP) but would like to transition to WooCommerce. I believe some of the pages WooCommerce creates would be similarly named to those currently used by EMP.

My question is, if I install WooCommerce while still using EMP, will it just create a “shop-2” “checkout-2” set of pages (in which case I can go in and remove the -2’s from the pages when we have everything ready for public consumption and removed the original EMP versions?) or will it try to overwrite what we have in place and set my whole install on fire? 🙂

Thanks in advance for any help!

It would make pages with slugs like “-2”, but if you trash and delete those pages in advance, it won’t conflict.

    Great!

We still want to be able to use EMP until we get WooCommerce fully set up (it’s complicated) and will then trash the originals and everything with EMP (and can then remove the -2’s from the new WooCommerce pages) while we get it going. thanks so much!
