@speedi626 – I’m not sure I understand what you are asking? Are you wanting to change the layout of the album display? If yes, then you will most likely need to create a custom template to do so.

    Thanks!

    That we understand.
In setting the plugin settings albums and every album is the ability to set an image, description and thumbnail image.
And as the gallery are displayed on the page so I want to issue an album.

@speedi626 – My apologies, I am simply not understanding what you are trying to explain.

I tried to draw it into the picture.
    Picture

Like page can list the gallery so I want to list all albums that I have generated the. In order showing the name of the album and the preview image and click on this list gallery are assigned to the album.

@speedi626 – Try using the following shortcode:

    [albums ids=0 template=compact]

I believe that should do as you are expecting.

    Thanks!

    [albums ids=0 template=compact]
Your writing does not display anything..
this record [album id = 5 template = compact] will have a listing of the album. But I just want to preview image and extract all balerií in that album that announced to click.

@speedi626 – Ah, yes, there was a typo … I added an s onto the album parameter.

Using your shortcode, as is, just change the 5 to a 0 will accomplish the same thing (in this case id and ids is interchangeable). This will display all galleries (as their preview image only) you have created on the site.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.

    PS: Sorry about the typo.

Yes displays the thumbnails of the gallery, but I want to show thumbnails of albums! I no longer know how to write us to understand.

@speedi626 – There is no shortcode that can show all albums. This would end up being a recursive display since album preview images are only seen when viewed as sub-albums.

That being the case, you would have to manually maintain the display by adding new albums to the top level (inserted) album every time you created an album.

Why, then, when you edit an album, the option to insert a preview image album? What’s so serves and used?

@speedi626 – Just like a gallery, you can choose a different preview image than the default … in the case of albums you have a much wider selection to choose from (essentially the entire NextGEN Gallery library of images) but by default it will be the “first” image within the album’s collection of galleries.

And as the collection of albums appear on the page?

    Plugin Contributor photocrati

    (@photocrati)

@speedi626 – Each album uses the same logic to choose which preview image it will display.

I understand that, but how can I view thumbnails of albums?

    Plugin Contributor photocrati

    (@photocrati)

@speedi626 – You cannot preview the preview image when selecting it. You would have to look at your gallery images and decide which one you want to use. When selecting the album preview image you can type it the filename (or our relevant details) and the selection will start to autofill for you to choose from if that helps to make it easier.
