Below Post display issue with Divi Theme

    Hello,
    I’ve been happily using your excellent footnotes plugin on numerous sites for many years.

    I’ve recently installed it on a site using the popular Divi theme from Elegant Themes.

    I have Footnotes set to display below post content.

    For some reason it displays without inheriting the background (just a white background in this instance) of the Divi main content block.

    The “footnote_container_prepare” and “footnote_references_container” are both nested within the theme’s “entry-content” (which is in “main-content”) as one would expect. So it’s not an issue of the footnote div blocks being in the wrong place. But they have no background, so end up appearing with the main body background behind them.

    The site requires a log-in to view at the moment, so if you need to take a look at see what I mean, please let me know. Here’s a link to a screenshot.

    Is this something that can be fixed within the plugin itself (in a future release), without me manually a the CSS to give “footnote_references_container” a white background?

    Since posting this support request, I’ve realised just how easily I can use some custom CSS to resolve this issue. So I consider it resolved.
    Thanks for the great plugin.
