    I’m trying to disable the product title and image links in the cart widget. The widget is located in the sidebar. When I open mini-cart.php and edit any of the code, the widget is unaffected. If possible, I would like to disable all WooCommerce product title and image links site-wide in order to keep users from accessing the product page. For either method, how do I go about removing the links?

    The product title and image links on the shop page have been disabled using scripts below in function.php.

    remove_action( 'woocommerce_before_shop_loop_item', 'woocommerce_template_loop_product_link_open', 10 );
    remove_action( 'woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item', 'woocommerce_template_loop_product_link_close', 5 );

    Will this be overridden if the plugin or theme is updated?

    Not sure why mini-cart.php wasn’t updating before but it’s working now. I’d still like to know if there is a way to remove ALL product title and image links site wide. Thanks!

    Examples of where these need removing? Single product page? or other places?

    The effort is for the product page to be inaccessible to users so removing links from the product page wouldn’t be effective. I’ve removed them from the shop page, cart widget and order page. But I still need to remove the links from the subscriptions page.

    But I still need to remove the links from the subscriptions page.

    That page is not part of core. Which subs plugin is it?

    WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin.

    I figured it out. I can be overridden using the same method as the WooCommerce plugin. By placing the template folders inside of a ‘woocommerce’ folder added in the theme’s folder.
