Before I start

It seems that immediately upon moving the site you will not be able to access the admin to engage the process. Do you have a defined EFFECTIVE process outline that I can review and follow before moving my site. I’ve tried to move WordPress a number of times and it is alway broken and unfixable. Any help or guidance you can provide would be most helpful.
