Hi everyone,

I am new to blogging and I need to get a wordpress.org for my blogging. Could anyone help in providing how I could download the wordpress software to be used on my mac desktop? Thanks.

Just wanted to see if I use it on my mac. Really appreciate.

The software from WordPress.org isn’t meant to run on a standard desktop PC (that includes Mac’s). It’s basicaly a bunch of PHP scripts that need to be installed on a web server, and the web server runs them, not your computer.

There’s a lot of good information availablea bout how to set up a WordPress site, with these being the starting points that you’d need to look through.

Thanks heaps. Going to read through the info. I am currently on wordpress.com but it seems to be better moving towards wordpress.org.
