Load capacity for many email notifications?

    Hello,

    We are evaluating this plugin for our web site. We will send email notifications to 20000+ users in our database. As such, we would like to ask you if anyone has done any load testing with your plugin or if you have any feedback regarding the load capacity from other users?

    Input from users of the plugin as well as the plugin author highly appreciated.

    Hi PWM,
    Thanks for your message.

    This should be possible but you’re likely to run into two issues:

        The ‘save’ or ‘publish’ process might take a very long time as it needs to send out emails to each user.
        Your host might have a limit on the amount of emails you can send within an hour so I recommend using something like wpMandrill to send out your emails from your website instead.

    Other than that, I can’t see any reason why using BNFW wouldn’t be able to do this.
