Author bio not showing up

The author bio box (https://theme.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/gazette-author-bio.jpg) is not showing up on my site (http://www.themetaindex.com/).

I did enable the option “Show author bio on single posts” in the Customizer, but nothing happens.

I am using a child theme. However, I tried using the original theme, with no modified files, and the author bio box still didn’t appear.

Any ideas on what may be going on here?

I am using Multisite, if that makes any difference.
