When I click on the “Read More” button it opens the page in a new tab. I don’t want it to open a new tab. All the other links work fine, and open in the same window (not a new tab). I have a mac, and have tried several different browsers, but it didn’t make a difference (Firefox, Safari, and Chrome).

I found the question had been answered for a previous version of guardian, and I figured it out.

“Copy the front-page.php in to your child-theme folder.
Open this file in any editor. Go line 23-35-48 , You will find target=”_blank” this must be target=”_self” Save it.”

For the current version of guardian the lines containing “_blank” that needed to be replaced were 25, 41 and 57.
