A fatal error can be just about anything … I think you need to check your webserver logfiles (an dmaybe your browser javascript console) for clues about what is happening here.

Btw: also keep in mind that the facebook API needs at least php version 5.4 …

Ok, i have checked my php version. It´s 5.5.30, so that must be ok. Sadly, I realy don´t knwo how to check my webserver logfiles. I´m rookie… But I tried again to activate eme sync plugin. This is what I got:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /www/htdocs/w013253a/hh-er-leben.de/wp-content/plugins/eme-sync-facebook-events/eme-sync-facebook-events.php on line 149
Can you help me with that? Or do I still have to check the logfiles?

Sorry for my ignoring. I was absent for a while…
My Problem is past, You was right. I had to change some settings on my Server with the help of my host.
