Sidebar appearing underneath content
-
Hello,
The sidebar on my blog has started appearing underneath all the content. It’s always appeared to the right of the content before, but now it is underneath. Could it be a compatibility issue with WordPress 4.1.1?
Is there any way to get the sidebar to appear next to the content again?Thanks!

Add the following code at the end of style.css
.columns.eleven, .columns.five{ clear: none!important; }@gildius: First, you’re using a premium/paid theme. It’s best to go to the support site where you bought the theme http://organicthemes.com/ for help with customizations and issues. You paid for support when you bought the theme, so you should contact the people who sold you the theme.
These forums are for free themes available in the WordPress theme directory at http://wordpress.org/themes/. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products
Second, never change the original copy of a theme; if you do need to make CSS changes, make a child theme so your changes don’t disappear when the original theme is updated. See Child Themes « WordPress Codex or ask http://organicthemes.com/ support.
Thanks very much for the advice.
You’re right @songdogtech – I’ll head over to the paid support now!
Gildus, I was having the same problem. The theme just needs to be updated, which it was. Run the update and you’re all set.
@motaz Shazly Thanks!
@folliclethought v1.2.8 still has the bug… 🙁
Hey guys, yeah this issue should be resolved with the latest update. I apologize for the bug.
@siprof You may need to clear your browser cache after updating.
Also, in case an issue ever arises like this in the future and WordPress isn’t able to push our fix fast enough, we also keep the theme up-to-date in our Github repository here, https://github.com/itsdavidmorgan/swell-lite
Thanks!
Yes, I can confirm that it’s fixed now.
Thanks for all your help everyone!
