One of the main features of this plugin is that it doesn’t actually generate a file to keep things light. Is there a specific reason why you would prefer it to not use query strings?

If it is in a file, it would be easier for uploading. For example, I have a lot of code in custom CSS right now, it almost crashes Firefox and Internet Explorer just trying to open it because there is so much code.
I also think query strings are bad for loading time. See this post.
