count tickets per category

    What would be the best way to output the number of tickets the user has bought within a category?

    I already saw some code in this forum about the amount of events in a category but couldn’t get it tweaked such that is worked.

    Preferably i would just use something like
    count($EM_Event->get_bookings()->get_tickets()->tickets)
    but now for the entire category.
