• I think the comment subscription confirmation email isn’t necessary, because when I as a comment author checks the box of subscription, that already says I want to receive email on future responses.

And if I don’t, I should able to click an unsubscribe link that should exist on every response email I get.

So could you tell me how to disable this feature. Because I think it will make a better user experience.

    Hi ekajuan,
For the guests anyone can add an email of other user and subscribe to comments if he’s a guest. So we don’t recommend it. But for registered users will add an option to disable confirmation emails. It’ll available in next release.

Agree with ekajuan. It is not neccessary to confirm subscription by email.

It is not neccessary to confirm subscription by email.

For registered users that may make sense, but as the author explained for guests it’s necessary. If you don’t have that confirmation email you may get in trouble and have your site marked as providing unsolicited email. Spam.

I do have nothing to add.

It would be better if the plugin author gives us an option to choose whether it is necessary for our websites.
