This often happens when people try to install Comic Easel into the theme folder. It’s a plugin, unlike Comipress before it.
Thanks, figured it out.
However, there is a theme for Comic Easel I found online, but can’t find it anywhere to download.

the theme is ComicPress – available on this repo
Yes, I’m currently editing my own child theme based off of Comic Press Boxed. I saw this theme and thought it was different, http://frumph.net/easel/, but it just has two transparent sidebars. I have one sidebar, and currently looking up how to make it transparent.

..new comicpress has boxed as a scheme in there in the customizer ..
not sure what you’re doing, if you could elaborate
Ah yeah, that could be confusing. I downloaded Comic Press Boxed from here: http://comicpress.org/download/. I’m making a child theme out of it for my website here: http://www.thedaemoschronicles.com/. As linked above, the Easel example had semi-transparent sidebars. That is what I am trying to achieve atm.
