@dori.stori – When you say “installing fresh” do you mean on a new WordPress installation using a default WordPress Twenty series theme and no other plugins; or, do you mean installing NextGEN Gallery for the first time on a site?

The site has been in use for a couple of months and the owner want’s to install NextGEN.
The site is running 4.4, Theme: Colorway, Plugins: ads by datafeedr, contact form 7, jetpack, mailpoet, wpmandrill, wpmu dev dashboard, wp smush pro
This is the only plugin that has been installed that throws this error and requires me to go to the server and disable the plugin to get the site back up.
What I mean by fresh is this has never been installed before on this server and it took down the site.
@dori.stori – Do you have the same issue if you temporarily switch to a default WordPress Twenty series theme and deactivate *all* plugins before trying to install NextGEN Gallery?
