• Hey,

I’m starting a multsite network, and most of the sites in the network will have some similar text on the pages. I’m planning to give you plugin a try above the Yoast plugin.

I know duplicated content is sometimes a problem. So should I not index these pages with the same content?

    Thanks

    Hi AlbatiQue,

Thank you for considering The SEO Framework!
The SEO Framework is completely optimized for MultiSites, it’s in fact first written for one.
Yoast unfortunately adds advertisements in the admin area, something you might not wish in a Multi User environment.

To get back to your question:
If the sites differ from content and titles, you can safely index the websites. If not, it’s advised to disable this by default.

You can alter the default settings with filters. If you need help with this, feel free to ask!

A tip, from an SEO standpoint:
Please try to use a sub-domain installation rather than a subdirectory one. This will let Search Engines treat all sites as standalone sites, rather than a huge combined website with potential duplicate content (home pages, categories, etc.).

    I hope this helps!

    Happy holidays 🙂
