In version 1.9.8 of the lite version when the custom post widget was added in “Home 2” it would split over two columns to fill the width. In 2.0.2 it doesn’t, it just stacks up on the left. Is there a fix for this? or have I missed something?

No other changes have been made, just updated theme from 1.9.8 to 2.0.2 and this stopped working. If I downgrade the widget goes back to two columns.

    Have tried disabling all plugins.

  • Hi Amplify11,

thanks for using MH Magazine lite.

Some users were having issues with the stacked layout of the posts when having long and inconsistent post titles, so we’ve changed the layout for that widget to the way how the small posts are handled in the premium version of MH Magazine which works well across all devices and widths.

If you prefer having the stacked layout and in case that worked well for your content, you could use the previous version of the theme which you can download here or check the code of the previous theme and modify the latest version accordingly (if you’re familiar with coding).

Makes sense. Is the option to have a stacked version available in premium?

No, not for the small posts in the widget. But in the premium version you can enable excerpts for the posts in the “MH Custom Posts” widget which will result in posts with larger thumbnails and excerpts. You can see this nicely (and other widgets / layout variations) in this demo.

I realy like Mh magazine premium theme. But i have some issues related with thumbnial size on recent posts. Currently the thumbnails look too small in mobile devices. I want to display large thumbnial. Here is my web site hossanaatglance.com. You can see how thethumbnials look ugly in mobile devices. Please help me how to resolve this problem.
