• Thats th3e best way I could put it, but it might not be what I mean. I would like to have a list of facilities that will come up seperately in a search.

i.e. If I type in texas, just facilities for texas will come up. If I type in Dallas, just facilities in dallas will come up. If I type in a facility name, just the facility will come up. I’m not sure if that makes sense….

The overall idea is of here to be separate entries for each facility I’d like to add to an overall region page ( state page, facility name, each entry searchable by state, city, or facility name).

  • You don’t use any “pages” – especially not Pages, they are different from posts.
You make categories, subcategories and posts.
    E.g. cat = Texas
    subcat = Dallas
each facility = one post for each

    Would that work?

Yeah, it sounds like you’re talking about categories. Basically, you make an entry for each thing and then give it categories based on what the entry is about.

I’m having a problem with my categories not populating properly and am giving a shot at having the categories post to specific pages. That ain’t working either.

Anybody know why my categories arent posting correctly? When you click on the specific categories, it shows all posts- not just the ones in the category. I’d like the thing to work right….

When you click on the specific categories, it shows all posts-

Does the error persist if you switch to the default or classic theme?

    Yes… Sadly it does…

Deactivating all the plugins and default theme?

Crap— The Ultimate Category Excluder was the culprit….
I was using that to keep everything but stuff tagged “news” off the front page.

Any other way to take care of this?

Tags and categories are 2 different things…
(do you have the latest version of the plugin?)
