Delete Content From Meta Widget

Using default theme.
My Meta Widget currently provides:
Site Admin
Login/Logout
Entries RSS
Comments RSS
WordPress.orgI would like for it to only offer the Login option. I modified the code in my widgets.php file but started getting errors with every site update so I reverted back. I assume some other file is also referencing this code.
Is there a way to only offer the Login option or is there another widget out there that will accomplish what I’m looking for? I have already tried the King widget, but that seems to be incompatible now.
