• I’m in the process of transferring from wordpress.com to wordpress.org and I’m having trouble logging into my WordPress.org site.

I have hosting/domain from WordPress.com currently and I’m trying to do a full transfer to wordpress.org. I’ve exported my file from WordPress.com

I’ve purchased hosting at Bluehost – when asked if I wanted a domain I selected that I already had one and used my current domain. After everything was set up in Bluehost I clicked Install WordPress. It asked which domain I want to install to and I selected my current domain (the one being hosted by WordPress.com)

This is where I’m hitting a snag – the admin link provided by Bluehost after the installation brings me to the WordPress login, but the login credentials they provided don’t work. I’m able to log in using my wordpress.com info, however.

I’d like to be able to log into the wordpress.org site and set everything up before switching the domain over to the new host. Am I doing something wrong? How do I log into the wordpress.org site installed on Bluehost?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks everyone.
