• I have a static HTML site – which I want to move to WordPress. What I basically want is to set the page as the front page with the exact design and layout it currently has. What’s a good way to achieve this?

  • Hi Daniel, you will probably need a web developer to help you code it. Or you could try purchasing a theme with a similar layout and adjusting the colours, etc.

There are plenty of themes out there which you could use to construct a very similar looking website. Just shop around the various theme sellers.

You could use the same images, background colours etc and few people would even notice the difference.

Identical? Then yes, as Chris said you need a web developer.

But your website only has one page. Are you planning to add more pages? I’m guessing so because if not, why would you want to use WordPress? But if not, then you could simply save this as a single html page.
