• Hi WP Community,

I am having several issues ever since I upgraded a site to WP v4.4 that I have tried just about everything except contact the host provider to resolve. I figured since the submission and redirect functions were working prior to the upgrade, it’s more than likely an issue with an application or conflict. Here are the 2 issues I’m having

    1. Contact Form 7 will not email the form unless I use a separate SMTP plugin (Postman SMTP). When I submit I get the following message:
    1. Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.
    • on_sent_ok: “location = ‘http://www.example.com’;” no longer works.
    • Even if I am able to use Postman SMTP to send the emails, I am confused as to why the redirect that was working before is having issues. I followed everything in the FAQ Guide and still no luck. The only thing that has changed over the past few days has been when I upgraded to WP v4.4. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I have also installed contact form 7 on a fresh WP v4.4 instance and added a Redirect and it also doesn’t work. When I attempt to submit I get the following error in my console log

    Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL
