• Dear everyone who might be able to help,

I’m administrating a website that used to run on wordpress.com and that we moved to wordpress.org. Moving worked fine, we deleted the old site on .com and just after that realzing: we need to make an evaluation of the statistics. (Totally aware of how stupid that sounds…)

Before I start panicing we might not be able to do so, I remembered that our technic guy exported all the stuff of the old .com site in an sql file. So, I have this file now and try to figure whether there’s any way to retrieve the statistics from that and if so how to do that.

    Anyone around who could help?

WordPress.com actually doesn’t allow you to export the database. He would have gotten a .xml file of then content, but that doesn’t contain the stats.

There *might* be a way for the Jetpack folks to recover and transfer the stats, so I recommend contacting them at http://jetpack.me/contact-support/
