I’m having a similar issue on a site where the admin is 404-ing. I updated WordPress and few other plugins via my local dev environment, committed the changes to the git, deployed to the staging site. The updates are done, but admin is 404-ing.
Further, I’ve disabled all the plugins, reverted to a default theme, and manually re-installed the core WP 4.4 files. I’m reaching out to the hosting support to see if it’s an issue on their end (behind a CDN), but I’d love to know if this is another WP related issue.
The site files are located in a sub-directory as well.
I’ve reached out to our hosting provider and there is nothing wrong on their end. I’ve restored a backup of our database, done a fresh install of WP 4.4, disabled all themes and plugins and we still cannot access the admin dashboard. This seems to be an issue with WP 4.4
Hopefully we’ll hear something on this ASAP :/
We’re having exactly the same issue. After login, browser tab reads “Dashboard” but screen is just white. Tried multiple browers, too. Would love to downgrade but can’t even access site to get to former version.
Same issue here.
5 websites updated to WP 4.4 and now I can’t login to any of those.
When I enter my credentials and click connect, it says:
“The website declined to show this webpage”
I try different browsers, different IPs, problem is the same.
What’s wrong with the last wordpress update??
