• Hi,

I previously posted about this issue a year ago: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/translating-taxonomy-slugs

    But to recap:
When using the multisite language switcher with custom post types that has a translated slug – the slug does not get translated correctly on the switcher. This will often result in WordPress simply redirecting (its sometimes good at guessing), but other times it results in 404 page not found.

In the last thread you mentioned that a fix would come up for this around 3 weeks after. Its now been a year, but the issue seems to be the same? Any news on this?

Thank you for building this awesome plugin. I use it a lot, and this is really the only issue I’ve found with it so far.

    Hi,

thanks a lot … and this issue is BTW a little bit harder to resolve then I thought. Yes, there are some news but nothing concrete at this point … the developers of various multilingual WordPress plugins work together to resolve some of the problems like this one: https://multilingualwp.wordpress.com/

    Cheers,
    Dennis.
