• I am trying to upload images and import pages in my wordpress. But all the time i am getting error saying “The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2015/12.” I searched for the solution, I tried in 777 permission, I asked my host provider about the error but they said that error is from my side. I spend much time on it but all the time I am not available with solution.
    I changed my folder permission to 0755, deleted .htaccess, cleared browser cache and I tried to upload it but same problem.
    It would be very thankful if anyone having proper solution for this error.

    Thank You!

  • In cpanel, you should be able to see how much of your hosting space is being used. I run into that problem when I get too many log files built up…so I have to clean them out periodically. I would look into that and see if you have enough free space.

    @wwstewart:
    Thank you for the reply. I had paid for unlimited disk space as well as band width. Therefore, in Cpanel, I can see Disk Space Usage NA/∞

    Now, I am getting same problem during plugin update. I can see Error “Update Failed: Could not create directory.” during updating plugins.
