Unknown Post Type message when editing

When I click on a product and then click on the Dynamic Options, I can’t edit those options. It gives me an error. “Unknown post type.”
I can click on Manage Options List and see all of the options at once, but the edit button for each option also leads to the same error.
On one product I have a lot of options so when I click save changes it doesn’t work.
But I can’t find where to access this information directly in the database to make the changes directly…since the UI can’t handle that many options.
Ideas? Suggestions?
