Today I installed xili-language plugin and after I installed it now I can’t access my WP wizzard or my site, I keep getting this message.

Fatal error: ‘continue’ not in the ‘loop’ or ‘switch’ context in /homepages/14/d603554415/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Fortis/wp-content/plugins/xili-language/xili-includes/xl-class-admin.php on line 6887

    What can I do?
    Thank you!

  • manually remove the plugin – ie use FTP or your cPanel’s file manager and go to the wp-content/plugins folder and remove the folder xili-language.

tried deleting another plugin and it keeps giving me an error

Manually delete it. As long as that plugin is installed and active you won’t be able to do anything though the dashboard.

To do it manually you need to log into your server using FTP and delete the folder for that plguin under /wp-content/plugins/.

I manually tried to delete it and it gives me an error…and I keep getting that error each time I try to delete a plugin

What error are you seeing? Is the error on the site, or through your FTP program, or cPanel interface, etc?

through my cpanel interface…when i try to delete it it asks me if I want to delete it and after I click yes a message shows up saying that a error occured..maybe its just the servers

It probably is some sort of permissions settings on the servers. You’ll need to contact your hosting company about that as they are the ones that would need to look at that issue.

ok Ill give them a cal
    Thank you very much!

If you can from Cpanel, make a full reboot of server (one process is probably still calling the plugin). Also if you have root access, you may kill processes directly from ssh or so.

In this function introduced around 2 years ago, your context reveals this annoying line with “continue” error. (due to error it writing rights)

Latest version in SVN WP repository and Github were now patched.

after many attempts I connected through a secure shell connection in my filezilla because with my usual host it wouldn’t let me and I deleted that folder and I’m operative again
    Thank you all
